 Dr. Laurie Rhines is an experienced licensed psychotherapist who has specialized training and certification on how to use horses as a tool in therapy sessions.  

Both adolescents and adults are welcome; individuals, couples, or families.

 Horses Healing Hearts, hosted by Dreamcatcher Farm, is a program for anybody needing help overcoming difficulties in life, whether it's PTSD, trauma, abuse, shyness, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or many other concerns. 

  Horses, with their majestic powerful presence, seem to just know how to help us. No prior horse experience is needed! Equine Therapy has been proven so effective that most insurance companies help cover the cost. Visit Horses Healing Hearts for more information or call 860-462-1813.  

Horses Encourage Authentic Results of Transformation = H.E.A.R.T. Sign up for a H.E.A.R.T Workshop today! These session are for ages 18+ and held Sundays 9-11 am. We focus on mindfulness, relaxation, and stress-relief while learning about horses. 

 In this crazy world we are always doing something, going somewhere, planning something, etc. The mental and emotional wheels are forever turning. Eventually those wheels will burn out without maintenance. 

 Learn to help calm your mind and maintain your well-being in a H.E.A.R.T Workshop. No horse experience is necessary! 

Payments for this program and donations to Dreamcatcher Farm can be cash, check, or through Venmo @Brandi-Ahearn. All money goes towards care of the horses and continuation of the programs.

Pre-registration is required! 

Cost is $40 per person.

I am H.E.R.D.  You can be H.E.R.D (Helping Everyone Respect Diversity). Everyone should be H.E.R.D! 

An on-going group that currently meets Wednesdays and Thursdays 

4 - 6 pm and Sundays from 3 - 5 pm 

for ages 12 - 18.  

NO horse experience necessary. 

Learn about horses and nature through games and activities! Meet new friends, learn about yourself, and build confidence and self-esteem while having fun! 

 All are welcome and accepted. When you are part of the HERD you are Helping Everyone Respect Diversity. Fee is $25 per session. A parent or guardian must sign a release/info form. If you are in a financial hardship, please contact me! If you are financially fortunate, please consider a donation towards helping others join.

After the registration forms are filled out, you can sign up for Middle Schoolers to use the bus service for transportation directly to the farm on Wednesdays and Thursdays!  

Payments for this program and donations can be cash in exact amount, a check to Dreamcatcher Farm, or through Venmo @Brandi-Ahearn.  All money goes towards care of the horses and continuation of the programs.
